Protecx Two Piece Coat

This two-piece partial front overlap apron system is designed to distribute the weight between the hips and shoulders.

The coat style top overlaps at the front with VELCRO® brand hook and loop fasteners. The standard one-piece kilt features a side pocket, overlaps at the front and fastens with VELCRO® brand hook and loop fasteners and a side release buckle.

The alternative three-piece kilt overlaps at the front and sides allowing more freedom of movement.

Fastens with buckle and VELCRO® brand hook and loop fasteners at the waist.

Available with partial front protection of 0.50mm or 0.70mm, the back can be made offering 0.25, 0.35 and 0.50mm dependent on your requirements.

Supplementary panels at the shoulders maintain the total lead equivalency of the front of the apron, reducing the overall weight.

This design is also available with an elasticated back panel for extra comfort and the kilt with a non-slip back support belt which reduces the weight.

All aprons are branded with the Medray logo, a personalised embroidery of two text lines of up to 12 characters each at no extra cost. This should be specified at the order stage.

  • Lead Free Bi-Layer
A Lead Free Protective Material. Featuring Bi-Layer Technology has been proven and tested to attenuate radiation at both high kVp and low in accordance with IEC 61331-1:2014. If you are looking for a lightweight material that is also lead free, Lead Free Bi Layer is the best option

  • Composite
This is our lead composite material made from antimony and lead. It is lighter in weight and maintains strong protective qualities in accordance with IEC standards.
